Mondrian is a novel information visualization engine proposed by Software Composition Group from Bern. The original engine is implemented in Smalltalk. jMondrian is the Java implementation of this framework that lets a visualization be described as Java code. jMondrian also introduces some architectural changes in order to adapt the framework to the Java language particularities and for a better integration of the tool into a distributed reengineering environment (i.e. NOREX).
